What you'll do:

1. Enable development teams to leverage modern continuous integration and delivery tools to ship code to production weekly.
2. Stay abreast of architectural recommendations. Interact with customers; understand use cases and help the team validate proposed solutions.
3. Constantly improve product quality, security, and performance.
4. Remove obstacles and keep processes lean to get products in the hands of customers quickly.
5. Contribute to the knowledge base, wiki and other Flexera resources to help build the best customer experience.
6. Be responsible for the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the process being followed by the team.
7. Facilitate close cooperation across all roles and functions.
8. Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive.
9. Keep team(s) focused within the context of the project vision and goals.
10. Maintain open honest communication between everyone involved with the project.
11. Coach others in the use and application of agile practices.
12. Prompt the team to discuss and think through issues when they’re identified and facilitate decision making.

You'll be expected to have:

1. Experience in managing and/or leading development teams and can demonstrate processes or programs you have been involved in that have proven to be successful.
2. Ability to reason about software, approaches, expectations, and performance from a high level.
3. Experience with following is a plus: Web Applications, Go, Ruby, JavaScript, React, microservice architectures, Amazon EC2/S3 or other cloud services.
4. Superb communication skills to work within and across teams.
