What You Will Do :

Our Sr Product Technical Support Engineer provides day-to-day technical support for Global Products to Field Sales & Service organization on a global basis via site visits, phone, or email. The primary focus will be the Americas. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

How You Will Do It :

• Create and maintain technical service bulletins, service letters, and updates to the Solutions Database that meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations.
• Ensure timely and high-quality product service literature and technical support case notes.
• Support regional territories for escalated chiller technical support cases and warranty claims, facilitating data analysis by product, failed components, defects, and responsibilities.
• Drive product reliability through the Continuous Improvement Process for existing and new products.
• Collaborate with the Technical Support Regional Manager and service branch leadership to improve branch-level performance and support key customer accounts as a technical resource.
• Participate in educating other JCI associates on technical issues, failure modes, and their impact.
• Proficiently troubleshoot the refrigeration cycle as applied to air-conditioning duty on Global Products chiller equipment, with awareness of global support planning.
• Assist in defining and coordinating specifications for chiller systems as part of the Product Development Process.
• Adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Standards.
• Develop and maintain "a customer for life”.
• Provide technical support during on-site audits of GP plants, suppliers, and customer sites if required.
• Represent the organization in planning programs to enhance equipment business growth and maintenance.

What We Look For : Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related Technical / Scientific field and 8 years of technical experience with HVAC&R products OR 10-14 years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex product system problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Internet software, Salesforce, and Email.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 30% and occasionally internationally.
