Summit Human Capital is seeking a 100% Remote Sr. Product Owner supporting one of our Fortune 500 clients! We are looking for a Sr. Product Owner who possesses a wide breadth of experience in enterprise level environment with a focus on building out cutting-edge technology products! The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for tackling the tough problems and ability to do so with minimal day-to-day guidance!
Top Skills:
- 5+ years of experience working as a Product Owner within software development, data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud development
- Experience working with teams in cutting-edge cloud environments, preferably AWS
- Deep understanding and execution of product road mapping, backlog grooming, and product delivery from PoC through production
- Excellent communication skills
• Ability to take control of situations and make the best decision for both the business and development teams to achieve common goals
• Ability to translate and communicate business needs to new development teams to set direction and focus
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with Jira
Responsibilities
• Defines and manages product roadmap from PoC to production
• Work with C-Suite and other senior leadership via steering meetings and presentations for product updates
• Manages the sprint planning process and participate in all relevant ceremonies (reviews of prior sprints, grooming, retrospectives, etc.)
• Understands business processes and procedures as they apply to creating state-of-the-art technology products
• Writes detailed functional specifications, user stories and product documentation
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather "buy-in” on products to help ensure long-term viability
• Partners with key technical staff to confirm the overall solutions meet business requirements
• Collaborates with the business stakeholders on all aspects from vision to realistic production usage of the product
