We’re looking for a passionate Senior IT Business Analyst / Product Owner with a strong product ownership mindset - someone excited to work with the latest tools in a high-energy, collaborative environment. This is a rare opportunity to drive a total system modernization project with no legacy systems holding you back.

• Fully Onsite: 5 days/week (Core hours: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM MST)
• Salary Range: $115,000–130,000 ($5,000 - $10,000 flexibility for direct alignment)
• Must Have: Agile experience, SDLC knowledge, and proven collaboration with software teams.
• Nice to Have: Direct Product Ownership or Product Management exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the bridge between business vision and technical execution, ensuring business goals translate into product functionality.
• Partner closely with stakeholders and product leadership to define, refine, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Elicit and document functional/non-functional requirements that align with long-term product strategy.
• Analyze existing systems, identifying gaps, and recommending product-focused improvements that deliver measurable value.
• Create user stories, process flows, and use cases that drive clarity for developers and alignment with business outcomes.
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and QA efforts—always advocating for the end user experience.
• Collaborate on data migration strategy, mapping, and validation to ensure product stability and data integrity.
• Contribute to training materials and adoption strategies to help maximize product adoption and ROI.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of BA experience, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Demonstrated ability to own and influence product direction, whether through backlog management, roadmap input, or direct product owner responsibilities.
• Strong background in system modernization or enterprise platform migration.
• Solid experience with data mapping and integration.
• Deep familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Skilled with JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Visio, and related tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to build consensus around product vision.

Preferred:

• Domain expertise in claims, insurance, healthcare, or financial systems.
• Exposure to cloud-based platforms and UX/design collaboration.
• Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, CSM, CSPO, or equivalent).
