Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to serve as the healthcare workflow authority helping shape and scale our agentic AI platform. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for an AI-first product thinker who can translate complex healthcare workflows into scalable, repeatable product capabilities—not one-off customer solutions. You will define what “good” looks like for AI‑powered workflow automation and own the translation of healthcare needs into product requirements, reusable capabilities and workflow patterns that can scale across customers and markets. Working across engineering, AI platform, data, UX and commercial teams, you will help turn healthcare domain expertise and customer insight into differentiated products that deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities
Healthcare Workflow & Product Strategy
- Apply and continuously deepen expertise in high‑value healthcare administrative workflows, identifying where agentic AI can reduce friction, automate work, improve the patient experience, and deliver measurable operational value.
- Engage directly with customers, healthcare subject matter experts, and partners to understand how workflows operate in practice, uncover unmet needs, and validate problems and opportunities before solutions are defined.
- Translate workflow insights into product opportunities, requirements, and priorities—balancing customer needs with market potential, platform capabilities, and Aqurio’s product strategy.
- Define what “good” looks like for agentic AI workflows, including desired outcomes, agent behaviors, decision logic, guardrails, escalation and exception handling, human‑in‑the‑loop requirements, and measurable success criteria.
- Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, emerging AI capabilities, competitive solutions, and evolving customer expectations to inform product strategy and roadmap priorities.
Workflow Productization: Discovery to Scale
- Own healthcare workflow products from discovery through launch and optimization, translating complex operational processes into intuitive, AI‑powered experiences that deliver completed outcomes for patients and healthcare organizations.
- Identify common workflow patterns, capabilities, integrations, data requirements, and agent behaviors that can be standardized and reused across customers—driving a scalable product model rather than customer‑specific development.
- Translate healthcare workflow requirements into the agent behaviors, decision logic, tool use, orchestration, guardrails, escalation patterns, data and UX capabilities required to deliver reliable, scalable agentic AI products.
- Partner closely with AI Platform, Engineering, Integrations, Data, UX and Implementation to translate product requirements into reliable, configurable capabilities that can scale across customers and use cases.
- Use rapid prototyping and POCs to validate workflow design, agent behavior, technical feasibility and customer value before scaling investment.
- Define and monitor product and workflow KPIs, using production data, customer feedback and agent performance to continuously improve automation, containment, completion rates, user experience and business outcomes.
- Drive product readiness and launch, ensuring workflows meet functional, integration, compliance, reliability and customer experience expectations before broader deployment.
Integration & Data Requirements
- Define the integration and data requirements necessary to execute each workflow, including what information is needed, when it is needed, and the systems of record involved. Identify data gaps, access limitations, and integration dependencies that could impact workflow reliability or scalability.
- Partner closely with the Integration Product team as the healthcare workflow authority, providing prioritized requirements and operational context to inform integration strategy, roadmap decisions, and partner priorities.
Customer & Commercial Engagement
- Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand operational challenges, validate product opportunities and ensure healthcare workflow strategy remains grounded in real‑world needs.
- Serve as a healthcare product SME in strategic sales cycles, customer evaluations and demonstrations, articulating how Aqurio’s agentic AI capabilities solve operational problems and deliver measurable value.
- Synthesize insights from customers, Sales, Customer Success and Implementation into product priorities while distinguishing repeatable market needs from customer‑specific requests.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management, healthcare technology, or healthcare operations experience, with strong knowledge of healthcare administrative workflows and the systems that support them.
- Demonstrated experience owning products from discovery through launch and optimization, translating complex customer and workflow needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Strong product judgment with the ability to distinguish repeatable market needs from customer‑specific requests and translate those needs into scalable product capabilities.
- Experience working directly with customers, healthcare subject matter experts, and cross‑functional teams to understand workflows, validate assumptions, and shape product solutions.
- Ability to understand healthcare data and integration requirements sufficiently to define what a workflow needs from systems such as EHRs and practice management platforms and partner effectively with technical and integration teams.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI‑powered products, including agent behavior, non‑deterministic outcomes, guardrails, evaluation, failure modes, and human escalation.
- Experience defining product success measures and using customer feedback, workflow analytics, and product performance data to drive prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex healthcare, product, and technical concepts for engineering teams, executives, customers, and commercial stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in a high‑growth, ambiguous environment with the ability to self‑direct, make sound product decisions, and move quickly without a fully defined playbook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI‑powered products, particularly conversational AI, voice AI, agentic AI, workflow automation, or LLM‑based products and agent orchestration.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability, EHR/PMS integrations, patient engagement, revenue cycle, or other healthcare administrative technology.
- Experience supporting strategic customer engagements, product demonstrations, or complex healthcare sales cycles.
- Experience working in high‑growth healthcare technology environments bringing new products or capabilities to market.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of product management experience in healthcare IT, digital health, with exposure to clinical/administrative operations.
- Demonstrated success influencing technical roadmaps and driving customer outcomes in a cross‑functional environment.
- Proven track record of managing a full product SDLC for complex, multi‑system workflows in a healthcare context.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work lifting no more than 10 pounds.
- Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate office equipment.
- Vision sufficient to read computer screens, reports, and related documents.
- Endurance sufficient to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Frequent speech communication and hearing.
