Sr. Product Manager, Cable Management

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Cable Management to be based out of Philadelphia, PA, Houston, TX, or Cartersville, GA. Reporting to the VP/GM Cable Management & Framing, the Sr. Product Manager's responsibilities include team mentoring, product strategy development, new product development, competitor assessment, and marketing/training needs. The role also manages product pricing and quotations activities supporting Cable Management. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based companies is a plus.

What you'll do:
  1. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned products, supporting internal teams, sales, distributors, and end users. Engage with stakeholders at all levels to align strategies and communicate updates.
  2. Manage all cable management pricing and deployment of pricing strategies through the quotations team. Supervise the quotations analysts in project quotations.
  3. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of the product roadmap. Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to retirement.
  4. Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies, market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs, translating them into actionable strategies. Conduct market and VOC research to identify opportunities.
  5. Mentor within the SBU team, fostering a culture of innovation. Address challenges in product development, finding effective solutions.
  6. Ensure adherence to standard work within product management and support functions. Establish KPIs and metrics to measure product success.
  7. Develop and deliver training materials for marketing support, including catalogs, launch kits, sales communications, and specifications.
What you'll bring:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Product Manager, preferably in cable management. A product engineering background is a plus. Experience managing direct reports is preferred.
  3. Proven experience in all areas of Product Management, including mentoring, marketing, competitive analysis, portfolio management, roadmaps, strategy, pricing, standards, and new product development.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Strong teamwork, self-driven, and accountable.
  6. Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  7. Technical aptitude and background.
  8. Responsive with a strong sense of urgency.
  9. Detail-oriented with multitasking and time management skills.
  10. Willing to travel approximately 25-50%.

Within 3 months, you'll:
  1. Complete your onboarding to set up for success.
  2. Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Identify ways to strengthen the team's commitment to core values.
  4. Assist with product roadmaps and stage gate processes.
Within 6 months, you'll:
  1. Collaborate on channel partner development and go-to-market plans.
  2. Maintain market intelligence and provide thought leadership.
  3. Analyze product positioning and work with engineering to drive innovation and margins.
Within 12 months, you'll:
  1. Lead product strategy development.
  2. Train and develop sales teams and distributors.
  3. Establish yourself as a subject matter expert.
  4. Understand competition and maintain profiles.
  5. Develop action plans to achieve results and report on KPIs.

Current pay estimates range from $106,720 - $146,740 in GA/TX and $113,120 - $155,540 in PA, depending on various factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401k, PTO, holidays, and other legal leaves. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
