Job description

The Product Analyst is part of the AI Governance and Product Operations team and will support model risk governance and client success efforts for a high-impact, fast-growing portfolio of payment fraud risk model products. The role involves identifying, shaping, and executing strategies to address key model risk governance and client success challenges.

The analyst will collaborate with product managers, data science, and frontline partners to streamline processes, coordinate model governance activities between Visa and its clients, and support activities with regional and enterprise risk management teams. The role also includes representing Data Products and Solutions in client meetings concerning governance and client success.

Essential Functions
  1. Create and maintain model risk governance communications, including support for model implementation and release schedules.
  2. Ensure proper documentation, review, and maintenance of model governance records, supporting continuous process improvements.
  3. Act as a point of contact in client-facing and internal meetings on governance and client success topics.
  4. Gather and communicate business requirements for custom data or report requests, providing regular updates.
  5. Respond to client inquiries related to model risk governance and documentation.
  6. Maintain FAQs repositories for governance questions.
  7. Streamline model documentation and performance reporting for clients.
  8. Coordinate with various business units to deliver excellent client service.
  9. Provide project updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

This position is hybrid, with in-office days to be confirmed by the hiring manager.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2 years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or no experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years with a Bachelor's, 4+ years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD. Strong risk management skills, payment industry experience, model risk management expertise, excellent communication, collaboration skills, creative problem-solving, leadership, experience with external partners, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. An advanced degree is desirable.

Additional Details

Work hours vary based on department needs. Travel is expected 5-10%. The role is performed in an office setting, requiring standard office equipment operation. Salary range for US applicants is approximately $124,700 to $180,650 annually, with potential bonuses and benefits.
