Job description

BY Position Title: Sr Business Strategist

Location: Virtual within the US

Overview

Part of the North America Strategic Transformation team for Manufacturing, this role will focus on Manufacturing Planning and Change Management. The role will enhance, support, and promote BY's leadership position in processes and solutions within the Manufacturing sector. It aims to bring value to BY's customers by defining future state processes, ensuring alignment with customer processes, people, BY technology, and supporting change management.

What you'll do
  • Act as an industry expert with deep domain knowledge in Manufacturing, especially supply chain planning, guiding clients to improve processes to drive profit, resource effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Lead clients toward solutions in business process, resource use, and BY technology using expert facilitation skills.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and operate as a thought leader in supply chain processes.
  • Assist in driving sales by demonstrating the value of solutions and proposing roadmaps for success.
  • Collaborate with Principal and Senior Enterprise Architects on Transformation 'Blueprints', leading blueprint phases in projects.
  • Maintain close relationships with sales, management, consulting, customer support, and product management to secure and present proposal information.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for industry conferences and forums.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex manufacturing transformation programs.
  • Drive a proactive, cross-functional culture across BY Customer Success and Delivery organizations.
What we are looking for
  • 10+ years of experience as a supply chain consultant or practitioner, providing consulting or change management for customers.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills.
  • Practical experience leading teams within tier 1 manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience across multiple industry verticals is desirable.
  • Experience deploying supply chain solutions in Tier 1 manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of End-to-End Manufacturing Supply Chain, focusing on S&OP.
  • Ability to work with enterprise solution architects to translate business strategies into operational processes using BY frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing verticals like CPG, Hi-tech, Automotive.
  • Understanding of manufacturing industry trends and products.
  • Ease in navigating complex projects and engaging with C-Level executives as a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to handle ambiguous situations and develop new consulting opportunities.
  • Experience with change management in Tier 1 manufacturing is a plus.
  • Previous experience in process or solution consulting in consulting firms, software vendors, or large corporations.
  • Business fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability in business process modeling/design.
  • Leadership qualities, collaborative approach, and independence in decision-making.
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000, based on experience, skills, and location. The role may include bonuses or commissions. Our benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401K with matching, flexible time off, fitness programs, and voluntary benefits.
