Job Description

The New Hampshire procurement team is seeking a highly experienced candidate for the role of Buyer/Planner. The Buyer/Planner is responsible for providing optimal value procurement aligned with cost, quality, and service requirements while maintaining strong supplier relationships. This role involves interfacing with various internal and external stakeholders, including supply chain management, supplier quality, manufacturing, and program teams. The primary duties include planning and executing requisitions, ensuring timely placement of purchase orders, expediting orders to meet program needs, and resolving material issues post-arrival.

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate strong business acumen with excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; effectively communicate with supplier leadership teams.
2. Make data-driven decisions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Maintain strong communication skills with an assertive and professional demeanor.
4. Operate effectively in a demanding and dynamic environment.
5. Support supplier development, negotiations, administration, and improvement initiatives.
6. Prepare weekly and monthly metrics for Business Reviews (MBRs).
7. Manage and report on supplier requisitions and purchase orders.
8. Track and report supplier delivery dates.
9. Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
10. Manage non-conforming material returns and close non-conformances within 14 days.
11. Address master scheduling and production issues, including negotiating lead times.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in planning and procurement of Printed Circuit Boards, Assemblies, and substrates.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proven problem-solving skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Hands-on experience with MRP systems (preferably Oracle).
• Procurement experience with PWB/PCBs.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations and Export Control requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Data View.

Pay Information:

Full-Time Salary Range: $81,156 - $137,964

Note: Salary is based on market structures and individual qualifications, including skills, education, and experience.
