Job Qualifications

General Description: The senior engineer/consultant requires extensive technical experience, exercising judgment to optimize solutions through analysis of varied alternatives. Responsibilities include leading projects, delegating work, managing multiple projects, tracking costs, meeting design milestones, and client communication. Technical competence in applying current industry technology is essential. The role may include acting as project manager for single discipline projects.

Project responsibilities:

• Scope: Responsible for discipline scope documents, including development and ensuring they meet project objectives and are properly documented.
• Schedule: Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring proper resource allocation.
• Budget: Track and maintain discipline budgets, ensuring costs stay within estimates.
• Quality: Ensure the quality of all discipline deliverables through quality control checks.
• Execution Plan: Aid in developing and executing the project plan, identifying risks and delays.

Throughout project execution, maintain scope, schedule, budget, and quality, updating stakeholders regularly and reconciling discrepancies as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of Process Engineering experience or equivalent knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
