Job summary

AriensCo is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to support new product development, process improvement, automation, and manufacturing efficiency at our Fayetteville, TN site.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other teams to optimize processes and lead capital projects. You will drive design-for-manufacturability feedback, implement automation, and develop CAPEX business cases to improve productivity and safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Management, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering role.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability and plan required process, equipment, and tooling changes.
  • Research, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements for new product introductions and capacity expansion.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing processes and staying current on emerging manufacturing technologies.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing process data within the ERP system, including routings and labor standards.
  • Conduct time studies, prototype builds, and process validations to establish accurate manufacturing standards.
  • Research, plan, and implement automation solutions that improve productivity, quality, safety, and ROI.
  • Lead CAPEX project planning, vendor selection, and ROI calculations.

Job Description

AriensCo is looking for a Sr. Process Engineer to play a key role in supporting new product development, process improvement, automation, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives at our Fayetteville, TN location. This position partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other cross‑functional teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, implement new technologies, lead capital projects, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

THE DAY TO DAY
  • Partner with Design Engineering during new product development to provide design‑for‑manufacturability feedback and determine required process, equipment, and tooling changes
  • Research, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements to support new product introductions, equipment upgrades, capacity expansion, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by evaluating existing processes and equipment, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and staying current on emerging manufacturing technologies
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing process data within the ERP system, including routings, work centers, labor standards, material usage, and task definitions
  • Conduct time studies, prototype builds, and process validations to establish and maintain accurate manufacturing standards
  • Research, plan, and implement automation solutions that improve productivity, quality, safety, and return on investment
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to optimize products for automation and lead the integration of automation technologies into manufacturing operations
  • Develop capital expenditure (CAPEX) business cases, including cost analysis, ROI calculations, project timelines, vendor selection, and implementation planning
  • Lead process improvement studies and experiments to increase efficiency, improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance workplace safety
  • Coordinate and manage process trials for new products, equipment, and process changes to ensure successful implementation into production
  • Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Quality, Tooling, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to support manufacturing initiatives and resolve process challenges
  • Research innovative manufacturing methods, tooling, and industry best practices to improve operations and mitigate process risks.
  • Benchmark manufacturing processes and technologies to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and operational excellence
  • Develop training materials, standard work instructions, and process documentation to support manufacturing teams
  • Train operators and production personnel on new equipment, processes, and manufacturing standards
  • Support safety, quality, productivity, and strategic planning initiatives by providing technical expertise and problem‑solving support
  • Diagnose and resolve manufacturing, equipment, process, and quality issues to ensure efficient and reliable operations
