Job summary

AriensCo is seeking an Industrial Engineer at our Fayetteville, TN facility to optimize manufacturing operations. You will lead data-driven improvements, lean initiatives, and ergonomics-focused redesigns in a serial production environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, development of labor standards, and ongoing safety/compliance initiatives to drive efficiency and quality across the plant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years in Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • CAD, simulation, and data analysis proficiency (Excel, Power BI, Minitab).
  • Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in metal fabrication and assembly lines.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Design and implement lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping).
  • Develop time studies and labor standards to improve productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughput.
  • Evaluate plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics.
  • Support new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor KPIs and generate reports to guide decisions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production inefficiencies.
  • Ensure safety and environmental compliance in engineering activities.
  • Train and mentor staff on process improvements and best practices.
  • Oversee engineering support for serial production lines, ensuring quality.
  • Oversee process control and optimization for finished goods assembly, packaging, delivery.

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer at our facility in Fayetteville, TN to optimize manufacturing operations at our commercial lawn equipment facility. This role focuses on improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing quality through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, process engineering, and ergonomics, with a passion for driving operational excellence in a serial production environment.

Day to Day
  • Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Design and implement lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping
  • Develop time studies, work measurement systems, and labor standards to improve productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughput
  • Evaluate and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics
  • Support new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes and tooling requirements
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to guide decision-making
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production inefficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering activities
  • Train and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practices
  • Manage engineering support for serial production lines, ensuring consistent quality and output
  • Oversee process control and optimization for finished goods assembly, packaging, and delivery readiness
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Industrial Engineering role or similar required
  • Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab)
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in metal fabrication, assembly lines
