Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Process Engineer supports our plastic injection molding processes, focusing on product launches, continuous improvements, and large capital projects to enhance plant efficiency.

JOB DUTIES
  1. Serve as the process expert in injection molding, guiding process engineers.
  2. Support new product launches through design reviews and process setup.
  3. Assist vendor build events, providing feedback for successful initial runs.
  4. Generate and evaluate CI project ideas with cost-benefit analyses.
  5. Manage vendors to ensure proper equipment installation, safety, quality, and throughput standards.
  6. Perform root cause analysis for quality defects and cycle time issues.
  7. Develop and implement corrective actions based on root cause findings.
  8. Coordinate cross-functional team meetings to develop optimal solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor of Science or relevant technical Associates Degree.

Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing, preferably in high-speed injection molding; master molding certification preferred.
