Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks experienced Software Engineers to join the Resilient Connectivity Products team in Cedar Rapids. You will lead cybersecurity research and develop solutions for next-generation connected platforms, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to tackle complex challenges.

The role emphasizes real-time embedded software, datalinks, waveforms, and secure software development. A TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree with extensive relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Experience developing embedded software using OO design.
• 10+ years in embedded software, communications, cybersecurity, or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity R&D projects within the team.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate cybersecurity tech.
• Assist with technology demonstrations and government-funded R&D activities.
• Engage with stakeholders across Collins to support project goals.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
