Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks experienced Software Engineers focusing on embedded systems, cybersecurity, and advanced communications to join the Resilient Connectivity Products team. You will lead cybersecurity research, prototype next-gen platforms, and work with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges in aerospace and defense.

The role requires real-time embedded software, datalinks, waveforms, or cybersecurity experience, with opportunity for growth, travel up to 10%, and US security

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required or an advanced degree preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Experience developing embedded software using object-oriented design.
• 5+ years in embedded software, communications, cybersecurity, or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development projects focused on cybersecurity technologies.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to develop, integrate, and evaluate cybersecurity technologies.
• Support technology demonstrations and testing to evaluate new cybersecurity solutions.
• Assist with technical proposals and government-sponsored R&D activities.
• Collaborate with Collins teams and customers to support project goals.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
