Job summary
Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead embedded software development across multiple product lines. You will perform technical leadership within an Agile environment, own requirements, design, implementation, and verification, and collaborate with hardware, FPGA, and systems teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions for critical communications products.

Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government-issued Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Lead software development and integration for multi-threaded embedded C/C++ product codebase.
- Serve as a Product Owner within an Agile environment, managing and prioritizing backlogs.
- Support PI planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Define requirements, implement software, and support test case development and verification.
