The Role

The role involves being part of the GDOT Professional Services delivery team, supporting project execution primarily within the region, and globally as required. After a brief period working under the guidance of an Advisory consultant, you are expected to develop the necessary experience and skills to assume the project technical lead role, typically within 1 year.

Your Impact

• Act as project lead in executing GDOT projects, including assessment, kick-off, design, modeling, configuration, installation, commissioning, and post-audit.
• Participate in GDOT studies, proof of concepts/trial evaluations, and provide user training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Support and R&D, to resolve GDOT issues.
• Support Sales and Marketing efforts to grow GDOT licenses and services.
• Support and train junior personnel.

What You'll Need

• Experience in the petroleum industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a relevant field.
• Experience leading Advanced Process Control (APC) implementations, with exposure to refinery process operations, planning, scheduling, or optimization technologies being advantageous.
• Understanding of multi-variable identification and proficiency in data analysis for complex problems.
• Exposure to plant systems (e.g., data historians) and some programming experience is beneficial.
• Fast learner with motivation to acquire new technologies.
• Team-oriented with strong customer relationship skills.
• Effective collaborator within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 30%), not continuously.
