EEPLUS has a specialised team comprising market fundamentals, energy, and power system experts that offer a one-stop shop for all engineering, permitting, technical, financial, and project management services related to early-stage development of renewable energy and/or transmission projects.

EEPlus' expert advisory teams provide comprehensive support across the entire development value chain, specialising in interconnection and modelling efforts. In addition to these core services, EEPlus offers EPC Management (EPCM) and Medium-Voltage (MV) and High-Voltage (HV) conceptual design & engineering solutions for renewable energy projects, including solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), wind, data centres, and crypto mining facilities. We seek an experienced EPC Management and Power Systems Design & Engineering Manager to lead and expand this service line. The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong technical background in MV/HV electrical design, power system studies, and EPCM processes, as well as exceptional project management and leadership skills. This role requires overseeing multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Position Title: Manager – EPC Management & Power System Engineering

Position Description:

·Lead and oversee the design, procurement, and construction management of MV/HV electrical systems for renewable energy, data centres, and other large load facilities connecting to the transmission/distribution grid.

·Provide technical expertise and subject matter expertise in power system design review, coordination with utility companies on interconnection issues, review design drawings, budgets, project schedules and provide technical and project management coordination across all stakeholders associated with the project.

·Ensure compliance of the design/engineering with industry standards (IEEE, NEC, NESC, NERC, IEC, etc.) and local and state regulatory requirements.

·Build and lead 5-7 member multi-disciplinary engineering team and external contractors across different regions for the service line.

·Develop and maintain strong client relationships with utilities, developers, and key stakeholders.

·Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management for team members.

·Support business growth initiatives by identifying new project opportunities, developing proposals, and responding to RFPs.

·Work closely with leadership to tailor services and expand EEPlus’ market presence in the US, Central America, and the Caribbean in this service line.

·Oversee & manage the procurement process for electrical components and ensure seamless coordination with vendors and suppliers.

·Supervise construction management activities with third-party contractors, including site inspections and quality control.

·Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.

·5+ years of experience in design and engineering, and field experience in construction supervision for HV & MC electrical infrastructure, with ERCOT experience preferred.

·Professional Engineering (PE) license is a must for this position.

·PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

·Strong knowledge of MV/HV design, substation design, and ISO/RTO interconnection processes with special focus on ERCOT.

·Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and contractors.

·Familiarity with renewable energy projects, data centers, and large load power system design principles.

·Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills.

·Excellent communication and client management abilities.

·Ability to travel as needed for project oversight.
