Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles seeks a fundraising professional to help shape and execute the foundation's strategy, expanding donor engagement and community relations to support the hospital's mission.

The role focuses on developing campaigns, managing donor programs, and representing the organization at external meetings, with opportunities for growth in major gifts and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Five years' fundraising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops community relations development plan and strategies to engage community members as volunteers and potential donors.
• Manages daily operations of the foundation.
• Develops, executes and follows-up donor campaigns including individual donors, major gifts, annual appeal and annual fundraising events.
• Assists in the development of outgoing communications and public relations for the foundation.
• Works collaboratively with other departments in the development and implementation of marketing and public relations activities.
• Represents the Ministry at various external fundraising, community and governmental meetings.
• Creates and implements corporate partnership and sponsorship programs.
• Organizes periodic community outreach and education events to share the mission of the Foundation.
• Develops support and participation from potential donors and volunteers.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Assists the management in the development and execution of fundraising strategy and in all aspects of fund development. Develops strategic plan to support foundation growth, with emphasis on individual donor management, volunteer engagement, communications and community relations.

Job Requirements

• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
• Five years' fundraising experience: Preferred

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required

Essential Functions
