Qualifications

• 2-4 years pharmaceutical experience required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License required.
• National Certification (PTCB or NHA) required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience submitting prior authorizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently select medications for dispensing.
• Compound sterile products using aseptic techniques.
• Deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion.
• Maintain contemporary professional knowledge base.
• Participate in evaluation, development and implementation of process improvement.
• Perform basic compounding and calculations.
• Communicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner.
• Advanced tasks include problem solving of advanced complexity, technical specialist and trainer on daily tasks and cases.
