Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to ensure medications and supplies are provided accurately and on time in compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires selecting medications for dispensing, aseptic compounding, and delivering items to the correct location while maintaining up-to-date professional knowledge and participating in process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Intern License.
• Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience preferred.
• National Certification required within 2 years of hire unless you are a Pharmacy Intern.
• Pharmacy Tech, Pharm Tec.

Responsibilities

• Select medications for dispensing accurately and efficiently.
• Compound sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion.
• Maintain contemporary professional knowledge base.
• Participate in evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement.
• Perform basic compounding and calculations.
• Communicate with patients, families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner.
