Job summary

Nasscomm is seeking a senior performance testing professional to lead enterprise testing efforts. You will simulate large user loads, monitor KPIs, and deliver analysis with actionable bottleneck insights.

You will shape testing policies and mentor teams in automation and performance practices. The role requires 8–10 years in performance testing with LoadRunner Enterprise, ALM, and UFT, and a background in software development is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience with LoadRunner Enterprise.
• 5 years with ALM and UFT; software development preferred.
• Degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
• If no degree, an extra 4 years of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Simulate hundreds to thousands of virtual users (Vusers) and monitor performance.
• Capture KPIs such as response time, throughput, and error rate.
• Prepare analysis reports and graphs to identify bottlenecks.
• Maintain testing infrastructure and tools including ALM, LoadRunner Enterprise, UFT.
• Lead SDLC performance testing: scripts, test plans, executions, analysis, reporting.
• Develop and maintain performance testing policies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Create and update training materials for performance testing and automation.
• Deliver coaching and training to cross-functional teams to raise automation and performance testing capabilities.
• Support enterprise-wide performance testing and automation initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Job description

• Simulates hundreds/thousands of virtual users (Vusers)
• Captures KPIs like response time, throughput, error rate
• Provides analysis reports and graphs to identify bottlenecks
• Administrative support for maintenance of testing infrastructure and tools, including ALM, LoadRunner Enterprise, UFT, Etc.
• Performance testing SDLC executions, development of performance test Scripts, test plans, test executions, analysis, and reporting
• Develop, implement, and maintain performance testing policies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance with organizational and security standards
• Create, update, and manage training materials for performance testing and automation, ensuring they align with industry trends and organizational needs
• Deliver ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to cross-functional teams to enhance their ability to execute automation and performance testing, driving continuous quality improvement
• Provide support for Performance testing and Automation initiative for teams and projects enterprise-wide
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of testing processes

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 8-10 years' experience with LoadRunner enterprise, 5 years with ALM and UFT and software development preferred.

Education:

• A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred
