Job summary

OJUS LLC is seeking an experienced Performance Tester to join our QA team in the United States. You will design, execute, and analyze performance tests for enterprise applications and collaborate with developers, analysts, and DevOps to optimize performance.

The role requires 5+ years in performance testing, hands-on LoadRunner/JMeter, and strong knowledge of monitoring and SQL/database performance. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and capacity planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing/Engineering.
• Hands-on LoadRunner and/or JMeter experience.
• Experience in performance test planning, scripting, execution and analysis.
• Strong understanding of load, stress, endurance, volume, and scalability testing.
• Testing REST/SOAP APIs and web applications.
• SQL and database performance analysis knowledge.
• Experience with Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar tools.
• Experience with Java, .NET or other enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, web services, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Ability to analyze CPU/memory/disk I/O/network metrics.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC/Agile-Scrum and defect management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks across application, database, API, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Execute testing for Web apps, REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Participate in capacity planning and scalability threshold determination.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot scripting and test execution issues; maintain reusable assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software lifecycle.

We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester to join our QA team and be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools, scripting, test execution, monitoring, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop performance test strategies, scenarios, scripts, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and volume tests.
• Create and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner/LoadRunner Professional, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Analyze application performance, response times, throughput, resource utilization, and system bottlenecks.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, architects, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Perform baseline, benchmark, load, and regression performance testing.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar monitoring solutions.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed performance reports with recommendations for optimization.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, API, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Execute performance testing for Web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Participate in capacity planning and help determine system scalability and performance thresholds.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Troubleshoot scripting and test execution issues and maintain reusable performance test assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development and release lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing/Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with LoadRunner and/or JMeter
• Experience with Performance Test Planning, Scripting, Execution, and Analysis
• Strong understanding of Load, Stress, Endurance, Volume, and Scalability Testing
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs and web applications
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis
• Experience with application monitoring and performance analysis tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar
• Experience with Java, .NET, or other enterprise application environments
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, web services, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience analyzing CPU, memory, disk I/O, network utilization, response time, throughput, and transaction performance
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect management
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience integrating performance tests with Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
• Experience with Gatling, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter
• Knowledge of Kafka, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Python, Java, or scripting languages
• Experience working in large-scale banking/financial services environments

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
