Job summary

Schneider Electric in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Sr. Performance Assurance Consultant to ensure client success by developing and managing deliverables. You will diagnose complex HVAC control problems, lead client-specific tasks, and communicate goals between the client and the Energy Bureau.

You will design monitoring plans for BAS systems, guide energy management, and coordinate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues. Travel 40–60% is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree with 5+ years’ field experience.
  • Building Automation System experience with operator knowledge and troubleshooting.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage client objectives.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and task management tools.
  • Willingness to travel 40–60%.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Assist clients with BAS operations, software, and networking issues.
  • Provide Energy Management guidance to clients.
  • Specify and estimate hardware/software adds and change orders.
  • Provide ongoing client training, both formal and informal.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Schneider Electric has the opportunity for a Sr Performance Assurance Consultant in Birmingham, AL. The role of the Sr. Performance Assurance Consultant works to ensure a positive experience for the client by developing and managing our deliverables. In this role you will perform the daily operations of the project plan for each client, troubleshoot and resolve controls issues associated with HVAC equipment, and be the primary point of contact for the client. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of the performance guarantee and resolving various issues along the way.

Position responsibilities:

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in service industry with direct customer-interface experience either in sales or client relationship, or equivalent experience
  • Building Automation System experience with understanding of operator knowledge, drawing package understanding, sequence understandings, operational intent, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of and proficient in project management skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient using task management programs
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer service internally and externally
  • Effective working in team environment
  • This job will require approximately40-60% travel to project sites.Travel will occur using an automobile or by airplane to destinations.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
