Job Responsibilities

Set the course by managing payroll functions for a specific business group, ensuring accurate paychecks, tax accruals, and timely data entry.

Role as the Island Guide

• Train new hires on payroll processes and systems.
• Update payroll documentation.
• Serve as a reference when the Payroll manager is unavailable.
• Assist with month-end reporting and filing.
• Gather and process payroll information bi-weekly, including W4, direct deposit, garnishments, bonuses, and allowances.
• Calculate imputed income, retroactive pay, and manage leave of absence calculations.
• Verify, transmit, and process payroll changes, checks, and severance as needed.
• Reconcile checks, manage tips, and oversee ATO balances.
• Manage employee time in Kronos, troubleshoot issues, and interface with ADP.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll taxes and labor laws.
• Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports.
• Perform miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 7+ years in payroll, with multi-state experience.
• Experience with ADP Workforce, Kronos, Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and math skills.

Note: Pay rate varies based on experience, skills, location, and budget.

Pay Range: $20.76 to $36 per hour
