Cribl is seeking a motivated individual to play a critical role in the payroll team. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Payroll, the position requires a meticulous individual who thrives in a challenging environment with ever-evolving needs in a high-volume, deadline-driven payroll operation. The position will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive impactful improvements within the Sr. Payroll Analyst area of focus.

As an active member of our team, you will:

1. Prepare and process end-to-end multi-state payroll for approximately 600 employees in both U.S. and Canada using ADP WorkForceNow (Semi-monthly).
2. Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll tax laws, including withholding, unemployment, and other reporting requirements.
3. Process incoming tax notices, amendments, rate changes, and various other state and local tax requirements using ADP SmartCompliance.
4. Assist in the preparation and processing of end-to-end global payroll processing using Ernst & Young Global Payroll Operate (Monthly).
5. Proven ability to process commissions, bonuses, and stock equity transactions.
6. Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Legal to develop and optimize best-in-class payroll processes.
7. Support system implementations and upgrades related to payroll processing.
8. Ensure adherence to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls. Participate in quarterly SOX audits and annual SOX reviews.
9. Provide timely responses to inquiries from the business, managers, employees, government, and other third-party agencies.
10. Be able to create, modify, and analyze data using pivot tables and a variety of Excel formulas and functions to perform calculations and data manipulation.
11. This position may require standby, on-call, or off-hours duties.

If you’ve got it - we want it:

1. 3+ years of experience with full cycle US multi-state and Canada payroll experience; bonus points for global payroll experience (EMEA) through EY or Global PEO experience.
2. 3+ years of experience with ADP Workforce Now.
3. Experience using Workday Payroll, HRIS, and Benefit modules.
4. Experience with foreign currencies and a good understanding of FX rates.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet all deadlines.
6. Excel Skills – must be comfortable with SUMIFS and pivot table formulas.
7. Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience at a high-growth pre-IPO SaaS company.
2. Ability to answer payroll-related journal entries for multiple countries, including payroll accruals and reconciliations.

Salary Range ($81,900 - $145,000). The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The offered salary within this range will be based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
