Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Payroll Data Analyst for a leading healthcare organization. This role supports enterprise-wide payroll distribution, commitment accounting, and PeopleSoft HCM operations, ensuring accurate postings to the General Ledger.

You will lead testing for system enhancements, maintain critical payroll data, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT on reporting and analytics to improve payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or related analyst role.
• General understanding of payroll processes and accounting principles.
• PeopleSoft FSCM (General Ledger) experience.
• PeopleSoft HCM Commitment Accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll distribution and payroll accounting.
• Project Management certification.
• System implementation or optimization experience.
• Training and end-user support experience.
• Audit and year-end close experience.
• Business intelligence and reporting experience.
• ERP system optimization experience.
• Healthcare industry experience.

This individual will serve as a key subject matter expert supporting enterprise‑wide payroll distribution, commitment accounting, and PeopleSoft HCM operations. The role sits at the intersection of payroll and finance, ensuring payroll transactions are accurately distributed, reconciled, and posted to the General Ledger. This person will lead testing efforts for system enhancements, maintain critical payroll accounting data, perform complex reconciliations, support reporting and analytics initiatives, and partner closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving complex payroll and system‑related challenges, and can work independently within a lean, collaborative team.
