Job summary

ADI Global Distribution is seeking a Sr Payroll Analyst to manage the full payroll cycle for a multi-state organization. You will validate data, handle timekeeping, deductions, and tax withholdings while ensuring compliance and timely payments.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors, support audits, and continuously seek process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency. This role requires independent work and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience.
  • Expertise with payroll software (e.g., ADP Global View, SAP/Oracle HCM).
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full payroll cycle including timekeeping, processing, and payment distribution with data verification.
  • Administer multi-state payroll operations ensuring local, state, and federal withholdings and registrations.
  • Research and apply payroll regulations; conduct audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues related to timekeeping, deductions, or benefits.
  • Act as SME for payroll inquiries across departments and respond to employee questions.

Job description

ADI Global Distribution is seeking a Sr Payroll Analyst experienced in processing payroll for a mid-sized, multi-state organization with the ability to work independently and interact with internal and external stakeholders. The Sr Payroll Analyst will also be an effective communicator with excellent people skills that support the organization's values and commitment to ensuring exceptional service.

Job Duties
  • Manage the full payroll cycle, including timekeeping, payroll processing, and payment distribution, while reviewing and verifying payroll data for accuracy, including employee timecards, voluntary and involuntary deductions, and supplemental payment administration.
  • Administer multi-state payroll operations by validating and processing local, city, state, and federal payroll withholdings and taxes, and completing payroll tax registrations as required to maintain compliance.
  • Research and apply payroll regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and conduct regular payroll audits to identify, investigate, and resolve payroll errors or discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues, including issues with timekeeping, deductions, and benefits.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for payroll related inquiries from other departments.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll issues and assist with resolution.
  • Collaborate with IT on system upgrades and implementations related to payroll processing.
  • Maintain and update payroll systems, including data entry, system configuration, and testing updates.
  • Work independently with exceptional time management skills.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements for payroll efficiency and accuracy.
You Must Have
  • 5+ years full-cycle payroll experience.
  • Expertise in payroll software applications (e.g., ADP Global View, SAP/Oracle HCM).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Microsoft Excel—generating spreadsheets, creating formulas, analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
