We are hiring a Principal Patient Marketing Specialist to join our growing team as we expand our technologies. We seek an experienced, passionate marketer who is dedicated to building in-depth patient understanding through therapy development or consumer experience for brands or technologies.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading patient-centric marketing strategies to expand awareness and adoption of technologies in the US market, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Using data-driven insights to assess markets, inform strategies, identify opportunities, optimize marketing efforts, and measure digital campaign effectiveness.
  • Creating and executing patient campaigns across channels such as SEO/SEM, email, social media, and direct-to-patient education, in partnership with creative teams and agencies.
  • Designing and implementing patient journey mapping, testimonials, and advocacy efforts to shape the patient experience.
  • Managing the approval process for patient assets in partnership with legal, compliance, reimbursement, and other teams.
  • Crafting compelling patient stories and building ambassador programs to elevate authentic voices and inspire action.
  • Conducting patient engagement activities like focus groups, conferences, camps, and awareness campaigns, and building partnerships with patient societies.
  • Managing the patient claims matrix to ensure messaging consistency and clarity.
  • Identifying gaps in awareness, access, and activation, and designing scalable solutions to remove barriers and accelerate diagnosis and treatment.
Basic Qualifications: Must Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of successful experience in the healthcare industry (pharmaceutical, medical device, etc.)
  • Proven success in patient advocacy, digital strategy, and execution
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Structured approach with strategic recommendations
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
Nice to Have:
  • Master's or other advanced degree
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative and professional approach

Benefits & Compensation

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and benefits package, supporting employees at every career and life stage.

Salary range in the US (excluding PR): $96,800 - $145,200

This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability leave, tuition reimbursement, and well-being programs, among others.
