About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in our Houston, TX facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. As Operations Manager, you will manage a team of production supervisors and operators, and collaborate closely with other departments to meet all production goals. Additionally, you will be tasked with reducing costs and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
• Experience in reducing costs and implementing process improvements
• Strong knowledge of quality and safety systems
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
• Proficiency in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in metals-based manufacturing
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies
• Experience producing UL-certified products
• NSF Certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations
• Manage a team of supervisors and operators
• Ensure production goals are achieved on time and within budget
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Manage projects and control costs
• Travel locally up to 30% of the time
