Position Overview: The Sr. Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a supply chain operation. This role provides overall direction and oversight in performance, safety, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, and associate development across multiple sites.

Location: Somerset, NJ (On-site)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Travel: Up to 30%

Compensation: Attractive annual salary ranging from $84,000 to $120,000 plus performance-based bonus

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct operations of distribution, packaging, and transportation to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
2. Evaluate and develop short and long-term goals for overall operations.
3. Oversee warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation to ensure compliance with requirements.
4. Focus on continuous improvement to enhance value, service, effectiveness, and profitability.
5. Ensure safety programs are effectively implemented for all associates, equipment, and property.
6. Maintain compliance with all relevant company, customer, and government regulations.
7. Manage budgets and P&L for operations.
8. Develop staffing plans, manage labor costs, overtime, and retention strategies.
9. Monitor quality and productivity, evaluate performance, and implement corrective actions and training as needed.
10. Collect and analyze performance data per customer, vendor, and site requirements.
11. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
12. Deliver a high-performance experience to associates and customers.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced 3PL, distribution, warehouse, or transportation environment.
• P&L management experience.
• Experience with high-volume e-commerce operations.
• Strong background in inbound and outbound logistics.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.
• Effective communication skills with diverse personalities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, WMS, and measurement tools.
• Excellent presentation, writing, and speaking skills.
• Preferred experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with ADP platforms, including E-Time, Enterprise, ADPRM, is helpful.
• Flexible schedule to meet operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience with Hazmat e-commerce (NFPA 400 and NFPA 30).
• Co-pack experience.
• 3PL experience.
• Valid passport for international travel.
