The ACH Operations team is responsible for processing windows that collect and distribute ACH transactions to and from the ACH network. The team also handles exception transactions, as well as settlement entries and GL balancing. These functions are critical to the accurate and efficient processing of transactions on a crucial rail of the payment ecosystem.
As the Sr. Operations Associate, you will serve as the middleman for central clearinghouse activities relating to ACH transactions from receiving the files, sorting and routing the payment data, and settling the funds. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives assigned by Bank Operations leadership.
The role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on-site / Fri remote) at the UMB Technology & Operations Center located in downtown Kansas City, MO. The work schedule is 9:30 AM-6:00 PM. However, for approximately 6 weeks throughout the year, this position will be the primary backup remotely for the evening shift, which has hours of approximately 12:30 PM-9:00 PM.
