LifeBridge Health is seeking a Senior Medical Practice Representative at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. This role provides oversight of administrative processes, ensuring high levels of patient service, and collaborates with the Practice Manager to monitor registration and scheduling efficiencies and staff training.
The position also handles outpatient registration and scheduling, charge entry as needed, timely co-pay collection, medical records, referrals, and surgery scheduling where required.
Summary: Under minimal supervision, provides oversight to the administrative processes and maintains a high level of customer service to the patients. Works closely with the department Practice Manager to monitor registration and scheduling efficiencies, processes, training, and communication to the other Medical Practice Representatives as directed. This position routinely will also work closely to identify areas for improvement in registration processes to decrease denial rates for the department. The Senior Medical Practice Representative is an important role and should be regarded as the example to other administrative staff on how to provide the best quality of service to our patients in both our practice and organization. As well, this position will also perform registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, charge entry (as needed), timely collection of co-pays and medical record functions. May require the need to obtain referrals and schedule surgeries.
Pay Range: $17.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
