Job summary

LifeBridge Health is looking for a part-time registration and admissions assistant for its Westminster, MD office. The role includes patient registration, scheduling, and collecting co-pays, with an 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

schedule on Mondays and Thursdays. Training will be provided at Sinai Hospital as part of LifeBridge Health’s affiliated network. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects co-pays and fees for facility and professional services from patient/guarantor.
• Balances and closes all payment batches at the end of the day.
• Obtains facility and professional services authorizations; may assist patients with obtaining specialty referrals.
• Performs complete registration of patients. Interviews patients to obtain correct demographic and insurance information.
• Schedules appointments into computed systems.

Job description

Performs registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, charge entry, collection of co-pays and medical records functions. Will work on Mondays and Thursdays, 8 am to 4:30 pm in our Westminster office. Training/orientation will be held at Sinai Hospital.

Pay Range: $15.50 to $27.29 Based On Experience
