Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join our team in a hybrid role, leading mechanical design across diverse projects including commercial, healthcare, and high-rise buildings. The candidate will drive HVAC concepts through construction, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and support business development with client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• PE license is required.
• 8–10+ years of experience designing HVAC building systems for complex projects.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, high-rise, and multi-family building types.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for system layouts and documentation.
• Experience coordinating with architecture, structure and other disciplines.
• Direct client contact experience and ability to develop project objectives and documentation policies.
• Sustainable building design experience; LEED AP or LEED GA with LEED process exposure.

Senior Mechanical Engineer PE - Hybrid

We are Seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to Join our Team. Projects include Commercial, Healthcare, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc. This person will lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality solutions for complex building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• PE License Required
• 8 to 10+ years of experience with an MEP or Engineering Consulting firm designing HVAC building systems on complex projects
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experienced in Commercial Buildings, Healthcare Projects, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Experience with direct client contact and fostering those relationships. Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
• Support business development initiatives by assisting the RFP process and interview process.
• Actively engage in community and/or industry-specific organizations.
• Experience and interest in Sustainable Building Design
• LEED AP or LEED GA with previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process.
• An appreciation and understanding of architectural design and how architects work and think.
