Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a PE license to join our Florida-based team on a hybrid schedule. You will lead HVAC design for diverse projects, coordinating with architecture and structural teams to deliver compliant systems.

Responsibilities include developing HVAC designs from concept to construction, preparing calculations and layouts, and supporting business development through the RFP process. PE required; LEED credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree required.
• PE license is mandatory for the role.
• 8–10+ years of HVAC/building systems design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for BIM and drawings.
• Experience with diverse building types and coordination with other disciplines.
• Experience in client contact and business development activities.
• LEED AP/GA credentials are preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural integration with mechanical systems.

Senior Mechanical Engineer PE - Hybrid

We are Seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to Join our Team. Projects include Commercial, Healthcare, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc. This person will lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality solutions for complex building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• PE License Required
• 8 to 10+ years of experience with an MEP or Engineering Consulting firm designing HVAC building systems on complex projects
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experienced in Commercial Buildings, Healthcare Projects, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Experience with direct client contact and fostering those relationships. Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
• Support business development initiatives by assisting the RFP process and interview process.
• Actively engage in community and/or industry-specific organizations.
• Experience and interest in Sustainable Building Design
• LEED AP or LEED GA with previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process.
• An appreciation and understanding of architectural design and how architects work and think.
