- Salary range is $95,000 - $125,000.
Position Summary
The Sr. Marketing Manager of Demand Generation will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of Transcat’s B2B online demand generation efforts to drive our organic growth. In this role, you will lead a team of digital marketers, our external digital marketing agency, and collaborate with your functional partners to create awareness, generate leads, and drive conversion. The ideal candidate is an experienced online marketer, strong leader, and exceptional critical thinker who can translate your team’s efforts and data into impactful business insights and actions. This role will report into the Senior Director of eCommerce & Distribution Sales.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive new business leads and customers into our sales organization to fuel our organic growth goals via digital marketing channels
- Effectively serve as the digital marketing subject-matter, cultural, and team leader within Transcat
- Develop the demand generation strategy and goals to support annual growth targets of our Service, Rentals, and Distribution businesses
- Manage your team’s projects, prioritization, resources and tools to effectively deliver and adapt to business priorities
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners such as sales, marketing communications, website development, and operations, to drive your key initiatives, support their goals, and orchestrate large strategic projects
- Directly lead and manage the following demand generation efforts:
- Paid Media: Continuously test and optimize online paid media for ROI with a strong focus on paid search
- SEO: Mature and expand our organic search strategy and performance, including content strategy and off-page technical opportunities
- Analytics: Own digital analytics data integrity, reporting, and analysis with a key focus on marketing attribution
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Continuously drive efforts to increase marketing ROI by improving website conversion rates
- Lead the analysis and reporting on demand generation efforts and effectiveness to senior business leader across the organization
- Drive Transcat.com eCommerce sales growth and new customer acquisition via digital marketing channels by optimizing the online customer experience for conversion, vendor and product digital merchandising, and eCommerce best practices
- Ensure training and development plans are in place and communicated to employees to drive performance improvement and career progression
- Complete and deliver accurate, thorough, and prescriptive employee performance reviews on the required timeline
- Model the Company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience working with Google Analytics, Google/Bing Advertising, and eCommerce platforms is required. Magento and Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Both broad and deep experience in core digital marketing channels. Experience marketing to B2B audiences with a focus on both eCommerce and Demand/Lead Gen is ideal.
- Experience driving awareness, acquisition, and conversion optimization strategies utilizing industry best practices across multiple channels.
- An in-depth understanding of SEO and experience developing and executing strategies to support organic traffic growth and conversion.
- Strong analytical skills and direct experience with Google Analytics is required. Ability to review data from multiple sources and translate to clear, actionable insights that lead to improved campaign performance and growth opportunities.
- Positive, proactive, and process oriented, with experience leading digital planning processes and a desire to constantly search out ways of improving process and project effectiveness.
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities, demonstrating strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading internal direct reports and external digital marketing agencies
- Strong ability to craft and present insightful, relevant, and actionable messaging to senior business leader is critical.
Education and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, including experience managing a team.
