Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Graduate degree with 4+ years of experience; or 10+ years without a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level knowledge in compression molding operations using materials such as rubber, pre-preg carbon cloth, and broadgoods.
• Lead equipment specification writing and qualification efforts.
• Lead investigations into nonconforming hardware and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization.
• Develop or champion new systems, concepts, or technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Create and maintain processes for fabrication of advanced composite parts.
• Create detailed work instructions, PFMEAs, and JSAs that meet requirements.
• Analyze drawings and specs to support robust part and tooling designs.
