Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an expert-level Sr. Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer (Compression Molding) for the AMF South in Huntsville, AL. You will lead compression molding processes, write equipment specs, and drive improvements for high-value aerospace hardware.

You will mentor junior engineers and manage large projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet schedule and quality targets. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with at least 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience, or graduate degree with at least 4 years.
• In lieu of a degree, 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level compression molding operations knowledge across materials.
• Lead equipment requirements specification writing and qualification efforts.
• Lead investigations into nonconforming hardware and implement corrective actions.
• Manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance.
