This position provides manufacturing engineering support for Turbomachinery components manufacturing at Solar Turbines’ Superior Gear facility. Responsibilities include detailed manufacturing planning, process continuous improvement, first article proofing, tooling/fixture design, machine selection, process and quality control, and new product development support. The incumbent collaborates closely with manufacturing engineers, design engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, planning, and facility engineering. As Solar upgrades its ERP and implements MES, the position will support the migration from paper-based processes to online manufacturing plans, standard work, parts tracking, data entry, and quality control, incorporating technologies like mobile CMM, 3D scan inspection, and DPM.
This position is located in Gardena, CA, and does not offer relocation or remote work. Partial relocation assistance may be provided.

Salary range: $108,834.00 - $163,252.00. Compensation varies based on experience, skills, and other factors.
