Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, NJ seeks a Senior Manager of Integration Systems & Encryption Functional Engineering. Lead cross-discipline teams delivering mission-critical capabilities with accountable engineering execution and aggressive schedule targets.

This role drives organizational capability through Agile practices, fails-fast prototyping, and a strong ownership culture, while ensuring safety and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of related experience; Graduate Degree with 10+ years; in lieu of a degree, 16 years of related experience.
• 5+ years of management experience and cross-functional leadership, including leaders of leaders.
• At least 5 years of successful cross-discipline execution in a matrixed environment.
• Minimum 5 years in workforce planning, staffing strategy, recruiting, and talent development.
• At least 3 years of EVMS/CAM responsibilities and proposal development (BOE generation).
• At least 5 years of experience with program execution frameworks, schedule/cost performance, and risk-driven planning.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-discipline teams or a department, including planning, staffing, execution and continuous improvement.
• Own functional scope, schedule, budget and technical quality across projects and programs.
• Implement and scale an integrated operating model with clear ownership and accountability.
• Establish repeatable engineering processes, tools, and metrics for interoperability.
• Lead cross-functionally across a portfolio to align priorities and deliver results.
• Build workforce and staffing plans to ensure talent capacity for current and future needs.
• Own recruiting, performance management, coaching, succession planning and development of teams.
• Drive engineering rigor and verification to improve first-time-right execution and reduce rework.
• Enable Agile delivery and rapid prototyping while maintaining safety and verification standards.
• Collaborate with Program Management and Chief Engineers on proposals, cost estimates and manpower planning.
• Communicate and influence stakeholders on matters of substantial importance.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
