Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a senior Technical Fellow - Encryption to shape encryption strategy and architectures for defense and national security programs in a Camden, NJ setting.

The role leads design, development, and certification of high-assurance cryptographic solutions across platforms, guiding cross-functional teams and customer engagements with senior leadership involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 25 years of experience in applied cryptography, secure communications, embedded security, and high-assurance cybersecurity engineering.
• Active security clearance or higher required.
• Proven technical leadership in Government-certified defense, intelligence, or national security products/systems with encryption capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as enterprise technical leader for high-assurance encryption technologies across diverse applications.
• Define and guide technical strategy for encryption solution architectures and cryptographic modernization.
• Lead design, assessment, certification and deployment of high-assurance cryptographic solutions across platforms and systems.
• Advise program teams on security architecture, risk, and certification considerations.
• Support business development by shaping secure communications solutions for defense customers.
