Job description

Sr. Manager, Sales Operations

Department: Sales

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Atlanta

Description

The Senior Manager, Demand Gen Ops owns the regional relationship between Field Marketing and BDR leadership, acting as a neutral pivot point focused on one outcome: increasing the output and quality of MQLs the region generates, and the effectiveness with which local teams execute against them.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Partner closely with Senior BDR Managers/Directors and Directors of Field Marketing on how local teams execute against MQLs - covering both the volume generated and the quality of what's produced.
  • Partner with field marketing to create a forecast on MQLs that can be reviewed regularly & ensure there isn’t a surprise when a campaign / event lands MQLs.
  • Act as the pivot point between Marketing and BDR leadership - surfacing gaps, escalating where needed, and giving each side the knowledge and visibility it needs to hold itself accountable to actions agreed in joint reviews.
  • Align Marketing and BDR leadership on shared regional KPIs, and steer both teams toward the same targets.
  • Design and run the region's demand management rigor cadence: a weekly tracking process, built on the KPIs agreed with leadership, that shows which teams are above or below the line and why.
  • Partner with Field Marketing to optimize channel mix for MQL generation, based on which channels are proving most effective.
  • Coordinate follow-up calls with BDR teams on key initiatives and support the on-the-ground execution BDRs need once a campaign goes live.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to convene the right leaders when significant spend initiatives or big-bet events require cross-functional decisions.
  • Partner with Prospecting Program Management on TAL build prioritization for the region, without owning the build itself.
  • Manage and develop the region's Demand Gen Ops Individual Contributor(s)
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience across Ops, BDR, or Marketing roles, including 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Track record operating credibly with senior stakeholders on both revenue and marketing sides.
  • Comfortable diagnosing performance issues from data, without owning the underlying reporting infrastructure.
  • Experience holding cross-functional partners to commitments without formal authority over them.
  • People management experience, or readiness to take it on.
