Job Description

Role Purpose

The Senior Manager will play an integral role in managing Sports Production finances, including budgeting, actualization, and analysis. This position supports the Vice President, Production Finance.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact with Production & Operations, attend budget meetings, answer questions, and prepare cost analyses.
  • Manage Production Budget processes: prepare budgets for upcoming seasons, attend meetings, manage follow-up, collaborate with Scheduling for staffing and budgets; assist with annual budgeting efforts including pacing, reporting, and risk/opportunity identification.
  • Handle FP&A and Controllership deliverables: monthly closing, pacing, estimates, LRP, budgets, variances, post-close financial reporting.
  • Lead/manage one direct report (Financial Analyst): code invoices, coordinate approvals, update team on status, work with vendors, actualize production budgets, and update show models for accurate cost forecasting.
  • Perform ad hoc projects and requests as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Excellent computer and analysis skills, especially in Excel.

This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the Stamford, CT office.
