Job summary

GoDaddy Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead SEC reporting, document technical positions, and drive automation across the close‑to‑report process. You’ll partner with Legal, Tax, FP&A and auditors to ensure timely, accurate disclosures and strong internal controls.

You will mentor staff, shape the team’s performance, and maintain SOX documentation while advancing scalable reporting solutions in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• CPA with 8+ years in SEC/reporting or related public accounting.
• Ability to prepare, review and communicate complex accounting analyses.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial data and reporting packs.
• Experience mentoring staff and guiding teams to high performance.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail and collaborative communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review SEC reporting components: statements, disclosures, tie-outs.
• Document technical accounting positions for significant transactions.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering accountability.
• Drive automation and process improvements in close-to-report activities.
• Maintain and enhance SOX controls and related documentation.
