Summary

The role involves maintaining production machinery and mechanical equipment, repairing tools such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, pumps, compressors, and other electro-mechanical machines. The technician performs advanced maintenance tasks and provides leadership to team members for routine and specialized repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery through preventive maintenance.
• Observe and listen to mechanical equipment to identify issues; dismantle devices to replace defective parts; examine parts for wear and imperfections.
• Inspect used parts, adjust devices using hand tools, and replace defective components.
• Lubricate, clean, and test equipment to ensure performance.
• A plus – Set up and operate basic tool room equipment like lathes, drill presses, and grinders.
• A plus – Organize, plan, and prioritize work for others.
• Initiate purchase orders, record maintenance events, and schedule repairs.
• Draft layouts, specify parts and equipment, and provide instructions and sketches.
• Analyze information, make decisions, and solve problems.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in building and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license.

Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening. Due to access restrictions, applicants must be US Persons (US Citizens, Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees).

Salary Range: $49,300.00 - $65,700.00
