Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery. The position is from 5pm to 1:30am, Monday through Friday, full-time.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline distribution systems
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to work order requests promptly
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Supervise, train, and develop maintenance staff by creating daily assignments for mechanics on each shift to support planned maintenance and loss elimination initiatives. Perform proactive work to improve production line predictability and stability
• Log maintenance activities for recordkeeping and compliance
• Record repair costs and frequency
• Collaborate with production management to ensure safe operation of equipment and create a safe work environment
• Follow maintenance department SOPs and methods
• Own and drive improvements around downtime, breakdowns, MTBF, and MTTR. Coach the team and vendors to execute these processes, building capability and ownership

Qualifications:

• Experience in machinery or related fields
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
