What You Will Be Doing
- Demonstrate people focused leadership. Lead a small team of business analysts. Be a talent ambassador and strong people leader who motivates and develops team members.
- Lead strategic planning. Develops technology strategies relevant to enable manufacturing, health, safety, and environmental, and commercial outcomes based on sound business fundamentals, economic thinking, benchmarking, and deep understanding of technology trends.
- Enable outsized organizational outcomes by identifying technology programs and strategies that allow the organization to execute more quickly and agilely and to drive greater results. Analyze complex problems, recommend meaningful solutions, and define the implementation path. Identify, manage, and mitigate risk effectively. Invest time in planning, discovery, and reflection to drive better decisions and outcomes. Highlight improvement opportunities, challenge status quo, and drive appropriate changes.
- Build strong relationships with functional leaders and teams. Create a culture of collaboration, build consensus through impact and influence. Define outcome-based business process transformation; explore and implement opportunities for process automation.
- Drive data driven decision-making to enhance ‘fit for purpose’ business processes. Assist functional managers in making decisions based on data insights enabling the organization to improve digital acumen. Utilize data and develop business insights to support decision making.
- Champion change management. Identify the need for and understand process change required to adopt innovative technology. Effectively communicate benefits and enable adoption of new process / system drive. Motivate and support affected individuals to embrace change.
- Be a champion for fit-for-purpose, standardization, and simplification: Balance the needs across three commercial teams, defining appropriate fit-for-purpose and standardized solutions by leveraging out of the box systems. Explore ways to simplify, automate, or eliminate existing processes.
What You Will Bring To The Table
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 5+years' experience working as a business analyst/partner to manufacturing, health/safety/environmental, or commercial teams
- Minimum 5 years manager of people experience
- Strong knowledge of business applications including SAP, preferably S/4HANA, manufacturing systems such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Asset Managements Systems, and commercial systems such as a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
- Led the adoption of new processes or systems 5+ times.

- Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills including active listening.
- Robust diplomatic skills and ability to help team members see value, opportunities, and risks beyond their own area of expertise, strong business acumen.
- Ability to combine knowledge and ideas from diverse sources to create innovative ideas as well as to see the potential impacts of decisions.
- Dynamic, curious learner with desire to understand new perspectives and opportunities, to explore new ways to solve problems.
