The Oregon Fruit Company is a fast-paced, growth-oriented fruit processing company based in Salem, Oregon. Founded in 1935, the company processes purees and canned fruit for the Ingredients, Retail and Foodservice channels. Oregon Fruit is family owned and seeking to share the things we grow in Oregon: Craft, Community and Fruit.
The Senior Sales Manager - Ingredients will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts for our ingredient products. This individual will work remotely, with up to 50% travel required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.

Education & Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer Skills
Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software.
Travel Requirement
This position requires up to 50% travel time, including some weekends.
Location
This is a fully remote position.
Reasoning Ability
Requires strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates a high level of initiative and self-motivation, with flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions and business needs. Building and maintaining long-term client relationships is essential for success in this role.
