IDR, Inc. is seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst to join a remote opportunity with a top client. You will be a hands-on Workday builder translating HR needs into secure, scalable configurations and automations across core HR operations.

You will own day-to-day Workday administration, build processes, lead cross-functional efforts, troubleshoot issues, and document workflows to drive adoption and efficiency in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Workday administration and configuration experience.
• Experience building Workday business processes, workflows, and security.
• Experience performing EIB loads and developing complex reports within Workday.
• Strong troubleshooting and testing experience, including validating updates.
• Ability to partner with HR stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.

Responsibilities

IDR is seeking a Sr. HRIS Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you'll serve as a hands-on HRIS/Workday builder, translating real-world HR needs into secure, scalable system configurations and automation. This position sits within a fast-paced, enterprise environment in a services-driven industry, partnering closely with HR and cross-functional stakeholders to improve the employee experience through process and technology enhancements.

Position Overview for the Sr. HRIS Analyst:

• Own day-to-day administration and ongoing configuration of Workday to support core HR operations and evolving business needs
• Build, modify, and optimize Workday business processes, approvals, notifications, and security configurations with an emphasis on usability and automation
• Lead and support cross-functional initiatives, including requirements gathering, system changes, testing/UAT, and release readiness
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve user tickets, and ensure reliable system performance through audits, validation, and documentation
• Create clear process and technical documentation (flows, requirements, logic) and serve as a subject matter expert to support adoption and knowledge transfer

Requirements for the Sr. HRIS Analyst:

• 8+ years of hands-on Workday administration and configuration experience
• Demonstrated experience personally building/modifying Workday business processes, workflows, and security (not solely functional support)
• Experience performing EIB loads and developing complex reports within Workday
• Strong troubleshooting and testing experience, including validating updates/patches and supporting high-volume HRIS tickets
• Proven ability to partner with HR stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into well-structured, scalable Workday solutions
